IN PROGRESS

Oh! I excitedly joined a new yahoo group.... Friends of Cloth Doll! While blog hopping the other day, I happened upon a ragdoll swap. I joined and registered only to find that the swap dates had been changed. Of course, I was disappointed at first, but I decided to make a ragdoll anyway. While looking for a pattern for her, I located a group of long ago ordered doll patterns (circa 2002)...seems I have a cache of Judi Ward patterns....The Whatever! doll; BIA doll and clothing; and a baby doll... there are about six dolls of varying shades already cut out....found about six small ragdolls' torsos, arms, and legs...stuffed....but where in the world are the HEADS? Oh! No! I've lost my HEADS!!! lol....anyhoo, here is a picture of my ragdoll in progress...soon she will whisper her name... I also have a baby doll head and torso stuffed..will show pictures as baby progresses!

RUNAROUND BAG

This is just a little something I whipped up using Joan Hawley's LazyGirlDesigns "RUNAROUND" bag. I experimented with the pattern a little by self-facing all the pattern pieces prior to assembling them...found that the seams are really too thick...but a cute purse all the same.....

Jeannie I loved your gift(s) and wanted to do a special gift for you....and was very, no EXTREMELY, HAPPY!!!! that you really enjoyed your gift....so here is a better picture of the matching earrings - they match the zipper pulls on the wallet and the inside zippered pocket of the handbag.... eyeglass case, wallet and lastly the handbag. The pattern is from Jackie's Designs. I must say how happy that the pattern designer was impressed with the handbag....one cannot get any better than that!!!!!

Judy Laquidara's BOM Quilt

Okay, I just couldn't decide how to get the fabric to make this quilt! It involves yardage....most of my fabric is a yard or less. Soooooo gonna make it a scappy type quilt. I'm sure Judy won't mind, as long as I am having fun!!!! Here is the first block....two more to go to catch up!
