ITS CHRISTMAS DAY!!!!!!

Well, at long last Christmas morning has arrived....what fun to watch the children's (well, young adults...) faces as they ripped into/softly opened ....lol.... all their gifts! MERRY CHRISTMAS around here means all day cooking....lol....potatoes are boiling...time to eat!!!!!

Black and White Challenge...Almost

I joined the Black and White Challenge yesterday, but I want to post a recent purse finish. It is black/white and purple/lime green....

CHRISTMAS SWAP DOLL.... You know those little pieces of doll parts that was posted a few posts ago? Well my swap partner has received her and now I can post the pictures! The little devil would not tell me what her name is, but she told Linda (her Mom) immediately! lol...little devil... "JODEE" was my first attempt at a small doll. I don't do small and as a matter of fact, I usually enlarge all the patterns I use...heeheehee....guess I don't need to do that anymore!

BLACK and WHITE CHALLENGE

I must admit that I am totally computer challenged.... just joined a blog for the Black and White Challenge...the project must, or course, be black/white fabs but with ONE additonal color....My favorite is black/white/red....love this; however, I must add other colors! Move away from the RED!!! Now I am unable to post the challenge symbol...gotta find out how, because what I did, did not WORK!!! Accckkkkk!!! I am surprised that I have not posted sooner; been very busy doing stuff. We have a new printer and I haven't figured out how to load the pics from the printer to the computer, but as soon as I do I will post pictures of my swap doll and pindoll for the FOCD yahoo group; a purple/grn handbag for dd's Christmas pollyanna; and other things Christmasy! WHOOHOO, I just love surprises and this morning I got a package from a swap partner...It was three wonderful books and patterns for making cloth dolls....clowns, flappers, and other patterns that I did not have!!!! Thank you Sharon...you are a real sweetheart! I love Christmas, it is a time of magic and wonder; good strange things occur this time of the year....maybe they happen all the time, but I notice them most during the holiday season. My prayer for this season is for all the people who have been adversely affected by the economy downturn....may the blessing of our Lord shower you all and may God show you a way to make your lives better spiritually....
