MORE CHRISTMAS LOOT!

Presenting MARINA!  made from a piece of silk that I hand dyed a couple years ago.  I started to throw it away as one of my failures...NOT!  That silk was splotched with green dye and my daughter Laura fell in love with it...soooooo, I decided to make the next "Pumpkin" doll - a great Christmas present!  She was "over the moon" about her doll.   Yep, used Claire Pruitt's Penny Doll pattern again!  Marina's bodice is of a lavendar silk dupioni; her legs/boots - a striped silk.  The bloomers are made from a lime green silk charmeuse and the sleeves and over-skirt is from a decorated lavendar organza.  Her shoes were first painted with black acrylic paint and then topped with "sparkle purple"!  Her vest - a crazy print.  I topped her off with some real hair...surprised?  I think not...love the real hair!
