MORE SNOW! Lots of pictures...

I decided to get out for a little while and took a walk around our area; didn't get far really, but here are some pictures of the surrounding area! 

Here the snow has gotten too heavy for these poor young trees and the weight of 4 snowstorms have bent the poor things over. I'm not sure if the maintenance crew around here will be able to save them.

Here is a picture of the same young trees from the other side, where they form a wonderful archway;  beautiful!

A wonderful view of the creek that runs the length in the back of our townhouses; our street name is Waterview!

...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEEEE!    Lol...my birthday was November, but I'm still getting little pressies from my online craft group members!  What a wonderful group of ladies.  I call it the "The group that never sleeps"; it's true as our members hail from different parts of the world.   Thanks Nancy Jo for the fats!   Sharon NZ, I finally did it and look what I received today!  I love the birthday voucher system!   Here is what arrived in my mail today, oops, yesterday!   I love this fabric...Amy Butler is a favorite!
Okay, it's not purple and green, but it will certainly do...lol!   The light colored fabric is for a background in a bom that I'm so excited to get started on ... again!   THANKS Sharon....

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

BEAUTIFUL SUNNY SNOW!

Today we were awakened by wonderful, brightly shining shafts of sunlight as the sun blazed through closed blinds....lol.  Those blinds weren't really much help today.  After the dreary days of constant snowfall, this beautiful day was as welcomed as the rainbow after the flood.  The temperature got up to about 33 degrees F; so only a little bit of snow melted.  Sweet hubby shoveled out the cars and cleaned them...only to discover an hour after all his hard work that the kids do not have school tomorrow.  Wow, they've just had a mini vacation.  That is by Monday, they will have had a vacation!  Anyhoo, these are a couple pictures I took from the second story bedroom of the rear of the property.  Sooooo beautiful...

WINTER!

We are having winter...for real!  lol... Right now I don't have to be out driving in the bad weather and such so it is really beautiful; thankful I am that the snowstorm hit on the weekend.  We are expecting another storm Tuesday and/or Wednesday of next week.  Meanwhile here are a couple pictures of the area behind our townhouse.  The stream is quite beautiful, even when it isn't snowy!
