MY FAVORITE BLOCK quilt along

Persimon Dreams is hosting a favorite block quilt along where from January 15 until April 25, different blogger/designers are sharing their favorite quilt blocks and method for making the same.  Take a look at Kim's progress; she talks about fabric selection and different layouts for more blocks. Last year I won a group of Pat Sloan's Eat Your Fruits and Veggies fabric line for Moda.  Thanks Pat; those fabric strips have been caressed almost to threads...lol.  Well, I took the plunge and cut into them for this "favorite block" quilt  along.  They are definitely some of my most favorite fabrics and I am going to need more to finish off these blocks.
